Quote: “Not Everything that can be counted…”

Quote: Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted.Nobody is exactly sure who this quote is attributed to, though some have said it belongs to Albert Einstein. Either way, the words are quite wise.

(Got the hot chocolate at the Ugly Mug, by the way. It was delicious.)

Quote from Thomas Edison: “I have not failed…”

Hello all! Before we get into today’s post, a few things:

Sorry I missed Halloween Yesterday. I should have posted something but in all honesty I was overtaken by homework-monsters and such. And then I fell asleep. So happy belated Halloween, hahaha…

It is my understanding that NaNoWriMo begins tomorrow. This is something I have always wanted to try but have not had the guts to. Unfortunately this year will be more or less the same–that is, no epic race to finish a novel. It’s not that I’m cowering in my boots this year or anything, but Novembers are particularly busy for me, and so I know my writing (with the exception of the blog) will be thoroughly neglected this month. (And will be picked up again with overwhelming enthusiasm in December.)

(That was not sarcasm)

Just wanted to wish all you NaNoWriMo-ers out there good luck!

Now, on to today’s topic, which will be rather short. I have decided to try something new, something I’ve been ruminating over for quite some time now. I want this to eventually be an ongoing thing on the blog, but… let’s just say I have a problem finishing the things I’ve started, sometimes.

I have decided to dedicate myself to the task of illustrating (aka doodling) pictures for quotes. In the future I’ll probably continue to draw these by hand with a pen, but who knows? I don’t have all the details worked out yet. Hooray for new projects!

And so, I give you today’s doodle-sketch plus quote by Thomas Edison:

Thomas Edison Quote that reads, "I have not failed, I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."

Much love,
Jackie
